What is your service area? Expand

We service Elgin and surrounding suburbs.

South Elgin, Gilberts, Pingee Grove, West/East Dundee, Hoffman Estates, Hanover Park, Barlett, Schaumburg, St. Charles, Sleepy Hollow, Geneva, Elgin, Streamwood.

How can I get an estimate or book an appointment? Expand

You can request a cleaning quote on our website, or call our office at 847-214-1151 and we will be happy to help you get started!

Do I have to sign a contract? Expand

No! Our good work is what keeps our clients! To initiate service, we will ask you to e-sign our “Client Agreement.” This is in no way a contract, it just helps us provide you with all of the information you need to know about hiring us. It also provides us with details such as how to enter your home, items we should avoid cleaning, pet names, etc.

Should I tip my cleaners? Expand

While not required, we strongly encourage tipping your tech just as you would any other service provider. You can tip them in cash or use our CRM system to tip your cleaners. We recommend 15-20% of the service cost.

What does your 100% guarantee mean? Expand

At Happy Cleaning Service, we guarantee our work. If you are displeased with your cleaning for any reason, please contact the office within 24 hours of the cleaning and we will come back out and make it right!

What is your refund policy? Expand

We do not offer refunds on our services, but we will come back out and clean any missed areas at no extra cost to you!

What forms of payment do you accept? Expand

We accept all types of credit cards through our Crm system and charge a 2.9% cc fee. We also accept Zelle payments to Happycleaningsrvsllc@gmail.com if you wish to avoid the cc fee.

Do I need to be home on cleaning day? Expand

No, in fact most homeowners usually aren’t at home on cleaning day. We will just need a way to gain access to the home. You can give us a door or garage code or hide a key. We will be sure to lock up when we leave!

Do you bring your own supplies? Expand

Yes! You do not have to worry about providing any cleaning products. The only things we ask you to supply are trash can liners, a toilet brush on each level of the home, swiffer dusters and our microfibre mop that can be purchased through walmart or us we have for sell.

Can I request special tasks or extras? Expand

Of course! We can customize your cleaning to meet your needs. We just need a 48 hour notice to ensure we schedule enough time for the extras.

How Do You Price Your Services? Expand

All our services are priced a Flat-Rate price for the job. Our goal is to keep your price as consistent as possible, as this eliminates chaos, as well consistency for your budget.

We do not base your price on the amount of time. We are not here to punch the clock of a job when your “time is up”. We are here to complete the job we have agreed to do on our estimate.

If you ever have any additional requests outside of your routine service please contact the office so the schedule, job instructions, and final invoice can be adjusted if necessary.

How Many People Will Be Cleaning? Expand

We use a solo-cleaning model. So we will only be sending 1 cleaning tech to your home for any home that is less than 3,500 sq ft. Any recurring cleaning over 3,500 sq ft we will send 2 technicians.

NOTE: All first time, or deep cleans we will assign 2 or more cleaning techs based on our scheduling arrangements.

What is your pet policy? Expand

Our Happy Team LOVES all fur babies, so please feel free to leave your people friendly pets in the house, however…..we ask that if you know your pet will experience anxiety during your cleaning (loud noises, new smells, etc) please make the necessary arrangements to make sure they are comfortable. We will house these details in our work order of any pets in the home and their locations. (i.e. Dogs will be kennels in master bedroom)

ALL aggressive animals are required to be kenneled, in separate room (which will not be cleaned), or outside during the cleaning. If we arrive to the property and are greeted by an aggressive animal, we reserve the right to not clean your home until the necessary arrangements are made. Our cleaning techs safety is our number one priority.

What is your Breakage/Damage Policy Expand

Accidents happen. We are covered by insurance, however every incident is different, and will be throughly investigated upon the time of the incident. If there is sentimental or extra fragile pieces in the home then they will be avoided and pre-discussed during your consultation. A note will be added to the job instructions pertaining to NOT clean or move the item.
